Spanish WINE Week With the current restrictions on travel and the cancellation and/or postponement of the large wine trade fairs it’s time for wine producers and wine importers to think about doing business differently. Well known for our 20 year history of organising Wine Pleasures B2B Workshops in Italy and Spain we have now adapted our B2B events for the wine import-export industry and we are please to announce the very first edition of the online wine trade fair: Spanish WINE Week. How does it work? Spanish WINE Week is a 3 day online live streaming event from 5 to 7 May 2020 for wine importers, distributors and the on and off trade to attend. The programme consists of seminars, interviews with wine makers and owners, and an online B2B meetings agenda with wine producers of your choice. All you need is a computer or mobile phone to connect to the event. Spanish WINE Week is great opportunity to discover Spain’s many interesting vineyards, estates and boutique wines, to meet and learn from the winemakers as they showcase their top wines and to gain genreal knowledge about Spain from our industry expert speakers. Grenache), an underrated variety in the past, however now it takes part in some of the most exciting wines of the country. This grape shows different faces in the vast Spanish country, since it has very high capacity to show the place where it is grown. Jumilla is one of the oldest DOs in Spain, created in 1966, with strong culture on wine making, and millenarian know how. Monastrell is a late-ripening variety, which thrives in the heat and produces wines that range from lively and fruity, to stunningly complex. In many of Jumilla’s vineyards, Monastrell vines remain ungrafted.
