Wine Pleasures Workshop: Buyer meets Spanish Cellar (15 – 17 March 2009)

ayles-estateAyles is one of the three biggest historical private estates in the Aragon region, with an extension of more than 3100 Hs (actually 70 out of them are vineyards). Among its values: its natural landscape and the fact that the whole area is under official EU protection for many kinds of birds.

The Ayles Estate project began in 1990 when this impressive but forgotten land was bought by one unique owner -the Ramón family. After complete soil & weather research, the plantation of selected grape varieties was initiated, including one of the first merlot to be planted in the whole region, together with Cabernet-Sauvignon and autochthonous Garnacha and Tempranillo. Only in the year 1999, having achieved the needed quality of grapes, a modern winery was built in the middle of the vineyards, and its wines started to be bottled and marketed.

The Ayles Estate unifies quality gourmet wines, terroir and affordable
prices, thanks to our winery concept, hard to find in the whole region. On the other hand, flexibility, trust and service are key words for our
commercial department.

Bodegas Ayles is being officially awarded the VINO DE PAGO label during 2009, which actually means a new individual DO for our wines. Nowadays only 4 wineries in Spain have achieved this classification.

If you would like to contact Bodegas Ayles please do so through thier web site. If you you would like to attend the Wine Pleasures Workshop as a buyer and taste the Ayles wines and meet with Carlos and Félix then please comple an enrollment form.
