Continuing with the publication of the 2nd Annual International Wine Tourism Conference Speaker Notes, we are pleased to publish the talk given by Susanna Tocca of DOC-DMC  which participants  found enlightening and usefil. The talk as per conference programme was titled:

Winelands of Portugal – a Case Study

Susanna Tocca owner of DOC DMC has developed Winelands based on her 20 years of experience in the industry:  She gave an update on Wine tourism  in Portugal and explained how the enogastronomic roadbook  “ Winelands”  allows the wine traveler to discover the most important DOC Areas of Portugal in a personalized yet self-sufficient way .This new product  aims to promote the nicest wine lands of the country to the Portuguese people and abroad and with it the Portuguese wine.  The concept can be adapted in every other  “winelands” be it Italy, France or Spain and opens cellar doors to individual travelers.
