About Hic et Nunc & terroir:

Hic et Nunc is located in Vignale Monferrato, halfway between Asti, Alessandria and Casale, on the border between Asti and Alessandria, in the heart of the Basso Monferrato, home to the Barbera and the Grignolino, iconic varieties of these hills. Vignale is at the heart of the temperate zone, equally distant from the sea and the Alpine range, which protects it from bad weather coming from the north-east. An important role in the characterization of Hic et Nunc’s wines is also played by the soil of marine origin that has a clay-limestone source and a unique characteristic. Poor soils but endowed with microelements that yield wine of great structure, finesse and – thanks
to the presence of limestone – a marked sapidity. The winery possesses an estate surface of 100 hectares, of which 80% is covered by arable land, forests and poplar groves, while only 20% is planted with vineyards.

We produce: Conventional wines

Method of Production: Charmat
