About Masseria Cuturi & terroir:

The Cuturi Estate, founded in 1881, is located at few kilometers from the Ionic Sea in the south of Italy, in the region of Puglia (subregion Salento, in the commune of Manduria). The organically grown 300 hectares of its property includes vineyards, centuries olive trees, and a wide bush area with an incredible biodiversity. The geography of the estate is characterized by the Mediterranean climate, and the estate is caressed by frequent see breezes. The elevation of the estate is close to zero meters (on the see level) and the ground sees the prevalence of clay and sand, which provide the typical reddish color (due to a high minerality, in particular iron).  The organically grown 30 hectares of vineyards are dedicated to native Puglia varieties: Primitivo, Fiano and Negroamaro. Masseria Cuturi is a modern winery, owned by the Rossi-Chauvenet family, and it was born from a clear vision, to protect the values of an extraordinary territory through organic and sustainable practices. Masseria Cuturi aims to grow its worldwide collaborations with enthusiast selected partners who search and prefer people behind a label and are eager to share our family’s work and dreams with a bottle of wine.
