About La Castellina & terroir:

The main part of the vineyard (33 Hectares) and olive trees are in Castellina in Chianti, in Chianti Classico area, in the south-West slope that from the Castellina village (550 m. above sea level) extend until 350 m. above sea level.
The soils are stony , rich of Alberese rocks in the highest vineyard, rich of Galestro rocks in the lowest part. The other parts of the vineyard (8 hectares) are in Maremma area, in the DOC Montecucco, more south and warmer climate.

We produce: Both certified ORGANIC and conventional wines
