Euro 2012 Wine Correlation Theory

Euro 2012 Wine Correlation Theory – what’s that ? Wine Pleasures has developed a theory which will virtually guarantee that you can pick a winner at the Euro 2012 Tournament. So if you fancy a punt at the bookies heed the theory! Successful teams at European and World Cups almost always produce wine. How well a team does is directly related to how good the wines are coming out of that country. So let’s look at some of the 2012 group games:

Spain against Italy – tough call as both countries are producing so many fantastic wines – narrow Italy win or a draw 🙂
Rep Ireland against Croatia – little known Croatian wines should be enough to give Ireland a whipping
France against England – France has a long history of producing fine wines but with English sparkling wines on the up don’t write an England victory off!
Greece against Czech Republic – Wines are produced in the Czech Republic but we fancy Greek wines to come through here
Sweden against England – Clear win for England though ice wine could cause an upset .
Denmark against Portugal – Straightforward win for Portugal

Apply the Euro 2012 Wine Correlation Theory to other games and you’ll get the final two teams!

Enjoy the games and the wines from their respective countries! :)
