Wine Pleasures Workshop - THE CONCEPT

Wine Pleasures Workshops bring together small & medium sized boutique wineries and carefully screened, high-quality wine buyers at workshop venues around the world devoted to achieving results and growing international wine imports and exports.

In contrast to student large trade fairs and exhibitions,Wine Pleasures Workshops are closed to the general public, and take place in a private environment perfect for pre-scheduled one-to-one business meetings between wineries and buyers selected for their quality and credentials. Wine Pleasures invites more buyers than wineries to ensure thatwineries can fill each available appointment slot with useful and relevant contacts. In addition to targeted appointments, lunches, refreshment breaks and evening receptions offer further valuable networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere.

Wineries value Wine Pleasures workshops because they can meet a diverse range of buyers from all over the world. Wineries can increase their exports by meeting and appointing new wine importers, extending relationships with existing contacts, obtaining market intelligence and feedback, and promoting their brand in the international wine marketplace.

Buyers use Wine Pleasures Workshops to easily source new wines and wineries for their portfolios, and to strengthen established business relationships - at one event in one location. They appreciate how Wine Pleasures Workshops cut down the amount of time and travel required to manage their business relationships.

Wine Pleasures Workshops are renowned for their organisation and sophistication - and most importantly, for the quality of winery /buyer relationships they facilitate. They now occur annually in three locations around the world:



Appointment System

The successful Wine Pleasures appointment system offers wineries direct and total control over the types of partners - by main activity and country of origin - they meet during the workshop. Wineries can schedule appointments with buyers, other indirect buyers and agents. Buyers can schedule appointments with wineries.

Prior to the workshop, details of all invited buyers are supplied via email. Wineries taking two tables at the workshop can double their effectiveness by scheduling simultaneous meetings. During the workshop, additional meetings and schedule adjustments can be made through personal contact.
